Riccardo Scibetta (b. 1971), after graduating in architecture in Palermo in 1999, worked for two years designing and creating interior furnishings, a monument in a piazza, participating in impromptu painting competitions, and working in graphic design. Since 2000, he has dedicated himself to photography, collaborating with specialized magazines. In 2001, he won the Savignano sul Rubicone photo festival. From 2003 to 2005, he was part of the Grazia Neri photography agency. In 2003, he received a special mention in the FNAC photographic talent competition for his work "Sicilia ritrovata," and in 2005, he won the Yann Geffroi competition with his project "Ouragan." In 2011, he created the MYOP (Make Your Own Path) project, which he will direct until 2021. His goal is to explore the world of design by connecting the work of Sicilian artisans, artists, and businesses with significant events such as the Salone del Mobile and 1stDibs.
