FLORE

Flore, of Franco-Spanish origin, was born in 1963. After working for more than ten years as a photographer for the press, since 2008 she has dedicated herself exclusively to personal projects. Winner of the Nadar Prize (2020), the Price of the Fine Arts Academy - Marc Ledreit de Lacharrière (2019), Photofolies Prize, city of Rodez (1998) and finalist of the Swiss Life 4 Hands (2020) and the Hariban Award (2017) , his works are the result of long-term planning, often during trips, and are present in numerous public and private collections, such as Musée du Petit Palais, Paris; MMP, Marrakesh; Memorial of Rivesaltes; National Library of France, Paris, in addition to being presented in international fairs such as Paris Photo, Photo London, Fotofever, Marrakech Art Fair, Daegu Art Fair, Snif Art Fair in Osaka. Through refined technical interventions in the development and printing phase, almost like an alchemist, Flore reinvents and redefines visions of a totally personal world, unique images that stand apart from conventional photographic reality. He ranges with ease from ancient techniques such as platinum palladium or cyanotiapy to more modern ones, sometimes mixing different techniques and manually intervening with wax or gold. Flore lives and works in Paris.
